Learning by demonstration
Mimic is a software platform that enables flexible no-code automation of surface processes by capturing and recreating organic hand movements through demonstration.
Mimic Training Kit was developed with the purpose of helping future robot operators learn no-code robotics using the Mimic software platform, which enables the automation of surface processes such as sanding, grinding, polishing, and deburring.

Learning through hands-on activities
Mimic Training Kit aims to give students hands-on experience while exploring the opportunities of no-code robotics. It offers first-hand experience of controlling a robot and aims to foster logical thinking, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The shapes and training cards help students learn how to teach robots by demonstration and make the recorded programs more precise by modifying position, speed, and force.

From beginner to advanced
No prior robot knowledge or experience with programming is required as the materials provide the students with the essential know-how of no-code robotics.
Training cards and shapes provide different levels of complexity: beginner, intermediate and advanced. There are simple exercises to get all the students started with the Mimic platform. Difficulty can be gradually increased by changing and combining the shapes as well as the training cards.

Mimic Training Kit includes:
• Teacher’s guide
• Guides for students on three different levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced
• 30 training cards
• 3D print files of training objects (edgy and organic shapes)
