PRODUCT APPLICATION ENGINEER

In recent years, Nordbo Robotics has focused on productifying our advanced solutions to scale through an international integration network. We are now ready to upscale – and this means strengthening our product application team who are responsible for deployment and commissioning in collaboration with our integration partners and directly at strategic customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This job is an important part of an ambitious growth plan where the company will upscale all of its activities – including the application team, which today consists of two dedicated engineers.
As a product application engineer, you will be the link between our R&D department and our customers worldwide. You will be working closely with industrial customers. Therefore, you need to have an understanding of their challenges and be service-minded in facilitating their needs.

You'll work closely together with the sales channels internationally as you participate in the planning and specification of the projects. Afterwards you'll take responsibility for the assignment and execution of the project. Your main focus is to make our integration partners capable of deploying and integrating our solutions at customer sites and secure that the customers are satisfied. Hence, you will drive the technical training of the integration partners and often meet with their end-customers on their home turf.

You will have significant responsibility for the success of customer projects and customer-driven developments.
Your primary place of work will be at the company’s office at Noatunvej 2, 5000 Odense C, but it is important that you are willing and able to travel to set up systems at end users’ premises.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should have a strong technical background and experience in deploying robot and automation solutions for the industrial sector. Preferably you have international experience and are able to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
It is important that you are structured in your work, able to juggle between multiple tasks, and thrive in the dynamics of a growing company and the uncertainties that come from pushing the boundaries of how robots are used.

Finally, it is important that you can work constructively together with your colleagues, but also that you can work independently and are willing to travel for longer periods of time when deploying systems internationally.

WORK EXPERIENCE

You have international experience, great technical insight and experience with technical installations.
It is a huge advantage if you have experience with deployment of robots for complex manual processes, such as sanding, grinding, painting and the like, or you have been working with Universal Robots, KUKA, Fanuc or Nachi robots.

LANGUAGE

Fluent in English both spoken and written.

At Nordbo Robotics, transparency, development, and unity are important keywords

At Nordbo, you will be included in our “buddy program”, where one of your colleagues will help you during the first months of your employment, so you quickly feel at home and become part of our community.
