As an Embedded Software Engineer at Nordbo Robotics, you will experience an independent job and a varied everyday work life with professional challenges matching your areas of expertise. You will be responsible for architecture, design, implementation, test, debugging, optimization, validation, documentation, and project implementation in close dialogue with partners and customers.
You work project-oriented with technical solutions and development
We imagine that you hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in software or computer science. We would like for you to have 3-5 years of documented experience with development of embedded software.
It is important that you thrive in a dynamic and customer-oriented environment and are a good communicator when in dialogue with customers and colleagues in English. As a person, you are proactive and can work independently. You will be responsible for your own projects and thereby handle customer interactions from previous specification phases to development phases and final reporting and delivery. You are passionate about your profession, keep up to date with the newest knowledge, and take pride in high quality and professionalism. At the same time, you understand the importance of knowledge sharing with colleagues when solving tasks.
We imagine that you are experienced with and have competencies within one or more of the following areas:
- C/C++ and basic Python
- Development for different Arm-based MCU’s. Primarily Microchip (Atmel) SAM.
- Communication technologies such as UART, SPI, CAN
- Experience with IMU and signal processing/filtering
- Data collection and processing, including solutions with different sensor technologies
- Worked with RTOS schedulers such as FreeRTOS or similar.
- Basic Linux skills preferable.
- Solid communication skills in English
